I am a Freelance Artist living in the Bay Area, California.

I am a mother to a curious and incredible young daughter, I am married to a talented and kind Photographer, and I have a career as a Freelance Set Designer/Prop Stylist working in commercial photography (you can find my work here).
I spend many hours in the day trading paint for sleep and its always worth it- painting and making art is my passion and it always has been.

I am self-taught all the way. I grew up in a creative household and come from a line of artistic women. My parents settled in an East Tennessee Valley where I was raised amongst lots of Joni Mitchell and macrame in my early years, DIY everything, a bustling blended family of 5 kids under one roof in my teenage years, and lush, childhood summers spent in the Caribbean and The Gulf of Mexico. I’ve moved around a lot as an adult (I’m restless and have made peace with that I will always be).

What inspires me to paint is that it allows me to tell a story without words. It is a my way of expressing feelings or philosophies that otherwise get overwhelming. It is my therapy and I am forever inspired to be better at it.

I have had three solo art shows in the past two years at some beautiful local shops, worked on packaging illustration for some cool brands, met some wonderful people who spark things to come and I’m just getting started: I hope to make picture books (I’m working on two at the moment!) as well as create a line of home goods that blend my appreciation for home design and illustration into one.
